At Cameronian Pet Lodge, we’re not just a boarding facility—we’re a home away from home for your beloved pets. Nestled in the scenic Whirinaki Valley just 20 minutes southwest of Rotorua, we offer a safe and enriching countryside retreat where tails wag, cats stretch in the sun, and every guest is treated like one of our own.
Established in 1984 and now proudly owned and operated by Gared and Trichelle, our lodge combines decades of experience with heartfelt hospitality. With a background in grooming, veterinary nursing across the Bay Of Plenty and Waikato areas, and topped off with hands-on kennel experience in Rotorua, Trich brings expert care and a familiar face to many pets and their owners.
Tailored Care in a Tranquil Setting, Here, dogs explore and play in the great outdoors, socializing in a secure environment. Cats soak up sunshine in our protected feline haven, enjoying views of birds gliding by. We think of the lodge as a kind of pet summer camp—their bed may be different, but the fun and attention they receive keep them coming back happily, tails wagging.
Part of the Pack, We know how much your pets mean to you—because we’re pet parents too. With four dogs and three cats of our own, we understand the trust you place in us. We care for every guest as if they were part of our family.
